A spot color is a special premixed ink that is used instead of, or in addition to, process inks, and that requires its own printing plate on a printing press. Use of spot color when few colors are specified and color accuracy is critical.

Spot color will list out all the colors individually which is available in Artwork File.

To view the specific color region of the spot color used in the artwork file by selecting the respective Radio button on the left panel of the color description.

The tool will filters the same in the artwork file and display the result on the Right Panel of the window.
